We’ve unlocked a secret location for our pop-up market this Friday, Saturday and Sunday: the industrial-style warehouse that was once part of the surprisingly big Foto de Leeuw premises - the building with the large tagged-out loading doors next to another one of our favorite Haarlem stores, the strikingly charming and expertly curated . See you there this weekend. PS. This weekend starts on Friday!

is going underground tonight for the official opening of , playing an interactive set in the basement of Haarlem’s infamous Vroom & Dreesmann building - the historic basement that once used to house the store’s extensive music departement and will now serve as a cultural hub and nightclub for the next few months. You might catch us playing some Oneohtrix Point Never, Plaid, Leroy Hutson, Fela, Mahmoud Ahmed, Mulatu, Lonnie Liston Smith, Chaba Fadela, Di Melo, Mariah, Banda Black Rio, Djavan, Taeko Ohnuki and Joy Division there, along with a bunch of cuts that will be chosen on the spot by tonight’s guests. The official opening is invitation-only and the rest of the weekend is completely sold out (sorry guys), but will air the whole thing and there are still tickets for the coming weeks - we might see you there!

If you’re in the neighbourhood make sure to check out Green Poulder, who’ll be presenting their debut album at Slachthuis Haarlem this Saturday. Built around legendary Haarlem P-funk trailblazers Gotcha! alumni Pieter Smeenk, Nyjolene Grey and Erik ‘Bone’ Boon, Green Poulder serves up an expertly executed concoction of seventies songwriting, glossy pop and slicked-out yet emotional soul with the P always lingering in the back and the odd curveball thrown in left and right, while heavily leaning on the work of Bowie and contemporaries. The album is now available at the store, online and on site this Saturday at Slachthuis.
