I have my own studio since 2007. There I design infographics and icons. Listening to my client and trying to find out the essence of their story is always my starting point. But in the back of my mind there is always the desire to create my own free art, working with press and ink. For me that is the ultimate form of relaxation. Often images pop up in my head. The simplicity of things, the essence

inspire me, because I love simple and pure. Sometimes my children give me ideas by the way they look at things or express themselves. Sometimes nature is a source of inspiration, the nerves or movement of leaves, the color of small insects. As a child I already looked at nature in bewildering and I have never lost that feeling.

My story

Nature is a source of inspiration, the nerves or movement of leaves, the color of small insects. As a child I already looked at nature in bewildering and I have never lost that feeling. It's the world of the forest I admire. Fascinated by how trees live in families and mother trees feed their children. They're sophisticated organisms. I’m also on instagram: @evelien_vander_zaken
