Some projects mean more than others ❤️

Today I received this video of the Honda SS 50 moped, whose tank I painted a while ago. Hearing that engine brought back something unexpected.

When I was 20, I had a Honda SS50 myself. My friends and I spent countless hours riding together in our leather jackets, making memories that still make me smile today.

So when I was asked to paint this tank, it wasn’t just another commission. It felt like reconnecting with a small piece of my own story.

Sometimes an art is more than paint because it brings memories back to life

Usually every project tells me what it wants to become. This one refused to stay the same.

One idea became another. Flames grew into a story.
New symbols appeared.
The composition kept evolving until every piece finally belonged together.

Hidden inside the hood,
where almost nobody expects to find an art.

That’s what made this project so special.

Some artwork isn’t created to be constantly admired.

It’s created for the one moment
when someone lifts the hood…
and forgets to look at the engine
