Mt. Fuji has many faces.

From the open view of the mountain, to the darkness of the lava caves, and the quiet forest of Aokigahara below.

It is beautiful, peaceful, and heavy at the same time. A place where nature feels almost unreal — but where silence also carries history.

Japan is full of places like this: breathtaking, complicated, and impossible to describe in one feeling.

PS. Near the public entrances to Aokigahara, su***de prevention signs quietly interrupt the mythology of the forest: reminders that behind the dark tourism image, this is also a place of real human pain.
