✨Meet the artist:

Although artist…it’s been a while that I have produced any real art. But for a good reason! Almost a year ago I bought my very first house and since I love old houses (mine is from 1900) that old house also meant lots of construction work! 🪚🔨 Therefore I have been quite busy painting walls, doors and window frames instead of on paper. 😅

One of the special features of my house is that I’ll have a room designated for a real art studio in which one day I hope I’ll be able to give small-scale art workshops. Talking about dreams come true. 🙏🏻❤️🖼️🎨

I have been working on a new children’s illustration for a while now. Got inspired by an image I came across years ago…

For me it represented the power of imagination children can acquire by reading books regardless of where they are born or the circumstances they are in. Books can make you travel to places you’ve never been to or don’t even exist. 📚❤️
