The Aurora Festival is a chamber music festival which takes place every summer in Groningen, The Netherlands, with over 50 concerts and an international Summer Academy for talented young musicians.

It's a wrap! The Aurora Festival 2026 was a huge succes. We had dozens of great concerts and thousands of visitors. A strong focus on young talent, beautiful locations and so much more.

We would like to thank everyone involved in the festival, form the musicians to the audience, the production crew, the piano transporters and tuners, the locations and everyone else who made this such a wonderful edition.

See you all next year!

Today the Aurora Festival kicks off! The Opening Concert tonight at the Lutherse Kerk is sold out, but from tomorrow on there are a lot more concert for which tickets are available.

We hope to see you all the coming week!

Every year we program early music from the baroque era. This year we focus on music from composers such as Frescobaldi, Bull, Froberger and many more. This will be performed on both harpsichords and organ. It is worth noting that one of the harpsichords used is an exact replica of an instrument that was available at the court in Brussels, on which this concert has its focus.

This concert will take place on July 20th in the beautiful Martinikerk in Groningen.
