Earlier this week we posted the up-tempo version of our set during Bing!2026 World Mixed, Cut, Print....Moving on.

The ballad we sang is also online. In Mixed Nuts' still short existence, you could perhaps already call it our signature song! Naturally, we are referring to our rendition of the Queen Brian May song 'Too Much Love Will Kill You'.

🎬 CUT, PRINT... MOVING ON! 🎶

The official video of our performance at the Bing! 2026 World Mixed Barbershop Convention is online!
On March 14th, we took the stage in the beautiful Historische Stadthalle in Wuppertal, and what a truly magical experience it was.

One of the songs we performed was 'Cut, Print... Moving On' from the musical Smash, in an amazing arrangement by Theodore Hicks. With an incredible average score of 83.8%, we proudly captured a fantastic 4th place worldwide!

We are immensely proud of this achievement and are still buzzing with excitement.

New Nuts Alert! Meet Persis & Mirjam

​We are absolutely thrilled to welcome two incredible new singers to the Mixed Nuts Chorus family! After successful auditions, Persis and Mirjam are officially joining our harmony. Get to know them below:

PERSIS: From New Zealand to Eindhoven
Persis is a Barbershop veteran with 17 years of experience! Introduced to us by her friend Krista, she is excited to dive back into the world of chords and ringing tones.

​Favorite thing about Mixed Nuts:
The chance to grow her sound in a mixed chorus and, of course, practicing her Dutch!

​Why join us? "Rehearsals are genuinely the highlight of my month! If you want to experience the joy of barbershop, come join us!"

MIRJAM: A Lifelong Singer from IJsselstein
​Mirjam brings a wealth of experience, ranging from classical choirs to jazzy ensembles. She discovered her love for Barbershop back in 2017 and followed some familiar faces straight to Mixed Nuts!

​Favorite thing about Mixed Nuts:
The high-level coaching from Katy, Stuart, and Naud, plus the surprising and ambitious arrangements.

​Why join us? Mirjam is impressed by the "amazing chords"—if that makes you happy too, she says you should come and experience it for yourself!

Naud Berkhuizen : Barbershopper van het Jaar 2025

​Wij wisten het natuurlijk allang, maar nu is het officieel: Naud Berkhuizen is door de leden van Holland Harmony bekroond met deze prachtige titel.

​Naud ademt barbershop. Hij zingt bij ons in Mixed Nuts, is onze performance coach en heeft inmiddels talloze koren en quartetten gecoached. Daarnaast is hij hard op weg om gecertificeerd jurylid te worden.

​Naud, we zijn ontzettend trots dat jij deel uitmaakt van onze club. Gefeliciteerd met deze welverdiende eer!

​Naud Berkhuizen: Barbershopper of the Year 2025!

​We’ve known it for a long time, of course, but now it’s official: Naud Berkhuizen has been named "Barbershopper of the Year" by the members of Holland Harmony!

​Naud lives and breathes barbershop. At Mixed Nuts, we are lucky to have him as a singer and as our dedicated performance coach. Beyond our chorus, he has coached numerous choruses and quartets, sharing his expertise across the community. On top of that, he is currently in the final stages of becoming a certified performance judge.

​Naud, we are incredibly proud to have you as part of our club. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor!

Throwback Thursday!
Just over a month ago, Mixed Nuts took the stage at the World Mixed Barbershop Championships in the stunning, historic Stadthalle in Wuppertal.

What an unforgettable experience! Under the inspiring leadership of our conductors Stuart and Katy, we performed Queen’s "Too Much Love Will Kill You" (arr. Melody Hine) and "Cut, Print... Moving On" from the musical Smash (arr. Theodore Hicks).

The judges awarded us a fantastic score of 83.8%, securing a wonderful 4th place! Although the competition is behind us now, we are cherishing the memories. Thankfully, we still have the photos by Eric Ideler to look back on! 📸

Wij zijn geen standaard koor. Wij zijn een ambitieuze, hechte vocal group die inmiddels tot de internationale top van de mixed barbershop behoort. Met twee nationale kampioenschappen én een knallende 4e plaats op de recente Wereld Kampioenschappen in Wuppertal, is onze missie duidelijk: samen streven naar muzikale perfectie én maximiaal genieten van de reis daar naartoe.

Waarom jij bij Mixed Nuts wilt horen

- Groeien als zanger: ontdek je potentieel onder de bevlogen leiding van onze topdirigenten Stuart Sides en Katy Taylor.

Je hoeft geen geschoolde zanger te zijn. Een goede stem, muzikaliteit en enthousiasme brengen je al een heel eind. Bladmuziek lezen is mooi meegenomen, maar dankzij onze professionele teach-tracks kun je thuis op je eigen tempo elk nummer tot in de puntjes leren.
