Data collection for Physical AI is a trade-off, not a solved problem.

At the Humanoid Robots Summit in Stuttgart, our Co-founder & CTO Maarten Witteveen highlighted a fundamental tension: video scales, but doesn’t align with real robot hardware; teleoperation aligns, but doesn’t scale.

Closing that gap means collecting richer, more diverse data directly from people doing the work, including the contact and force that video alone can’t capture, with tools that don’t leave scars in the data.
