glass arts, visual arts, ceramic arts. Hello! My name is Onno Octavius van Vloten and I am an artist from Arnhem, the Netherlands.

My main focus lies on glass art, but I also work with al lot of other materials. I have taken it on me to learn as much techniques as I can by working various jobs in the world of techniques and then replying them back in my art. I use (many) different techniques to create my art(works). A few of the techniques I use are : Tiffany, Stained glass, Flameworking, Welding, Solder, Lapidary, Casting, A

dhesive bonding, Saw & Grinding. While I do use new materiels, I still try to use as much recycled materials as I can. I enjoy seeing and making something beautiful out of an object people no longer see any use to. My passion and joy for creating art goes back to an early age. When I was young I loved taking apart broken machines and toys to see what I could build from the remaining parts. When I got a bit older, I noticed that from what most people see as garbage, you can make the most beautiful objects. For me it’s a wonderfull feeling to create something of great beauty and to see people enjoy my work.

When we got offered this project
We only knew it was for a new church.

After discussing some options, we designed and made this glass artwork.

We’re glad to see that our artwork made everyone feel satisfied.

WE GAAN VERLENGEN T/M 10 DECEMBER 2023!
Super, dat de Jacoba-tentoonstelling zo geweldig loopt en door jong en oud wordt gewaardeerd. Op een van de rustigere momenten liet Ianthe ons samen met haar moeder haar favoriete schilderij zien, de olieverf 'Bloemstilleven' uit ca. 1910. Die werd op de eerste of tweede Domburgsche Tentoonstelling door een in Domburg wonende familie gekocht en laat een prachtige wemeling van lichtgekleurde bloemen zien. Mooie keuze, Ianthe!
