Demonstrating one of the machines I made for making an paint can empty. Here the can itself gets slammed agains a hard wooden block. The impact makes that the content spashes out of the can.

Last year I made this work called 'Val van de klaploper'. In this installation I let a huge stamp float in the air by making use of the principe of several pully's. By dividing the mass of the stamp ,that has a weight of 100 kg, it is should be possible to hang it on one small wire. This wire is holding the stamp in the air. If the wire snaps the stamp will fall down and will print my signiture into the monumental floor of the museum. This installation was presented in Museum Jan Cunen during a show about the work of Panamarenko. This was a great honour because Panamarenko is one of my greatest role models in art.
