Hey everyone,

We have some great news! From the 1st of October, the pop studios can be used again. We ask all those who want to make use of the studios to sign up their bands so we can make a new schedule https://www.utwente.nl/nl/cultuur/faciliteiten/inschrijven-popstudio/ Make sure you do this before the 1st of October.

Also make sure all your band members have purchased a UnionCard for the 2020-2021 academic year when signing up your band (https://dms.utwente.nl/nl/home).

Because of the COVID-19 situation, there will be a few changes:
- Popstudio 149 has a max of 5 people
- Popstudio 150 has a max of 4 people
- The microphones have been removed, you are allowed to bring
your own
- Drummers have to bring their own sticks
- The instruments in the studios have to be disinfected before and
after use
- Rehearsals will now be 1.5 hours long with at minimum half an
hour between rehearsals to clear the air.
- 17.30 - 19.00, 19.30-21.00, and 21:30 - 23:00 during the week
- 10.00 - 11.30, 12.00 - 13.30 and 14.00 - 15.30 during the
weekend

𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲:

Due to the corona measures of the UT, all the music studios in the Vrijhof will be closed until the 31st of March. This means all scheduled rehearsals will also be cancelled. We will keep you updated on this page if anything changes.

During the Christmas break🎄, all bands are removed from the schedule to avoid a clash with the altered opening times of the Vrijhof. The Vrijhof is closed from the 21st of December until the 1st of January (on the 23rd and 24th of December, the Vrijhof closes in the end of the afternoon).

On the 2nd of January, the Vrijhof is open again and the studios can be used during the regular opening times.

Tijdens de kerstvakantie🎄 zijn alle bands uit het popstudio rooster gehaald, zodat de sluitingstijden van de Vrijhof geen probleem zijn. De Vrijhof is namelijk gesloten van 21 december t/m 1 januari (23 en 24 december sluit de Vrijhof in het eind van de middag).

Vanaf 2 januari is de Vrijhof weer open en zijn de studio’s ook weer te gebruiken tijdens de reguliere openingstijden.

Maintenance news 📰:

▪️The Blackstar ht60 stage amplifier in studio 150 is brought away for repair. As a replacement, a London City amplifier is put in the studio until the Blackstar is back.
▪️The skin on the floor tom in studio 149 needed replacement. Therefore, we replaced it last Friday.

Onderhoud nieuws 📰:

▪️De Blackstar ht60 stage versterker in studio 150 is opgestuurd ter reparatie. Tot de Blackstar terug is staat er een London City versterker in deze studio.
▪️Het vel van de floor tom in studio 149 was aan vervanging toe. Deze is daarom afgelopen vrijdag vervangen.

Welcome to the page of the Popsi, the Pop studio Committee of the University of Twente.

We deal with everything necessary to keep the band rehearsal rooms in the Vrijhof running. We also keep in touch with all the bands that rehearse on campus and we try to facilitate performance opportunities on campus. As a committee, we are part of the culture umbrella Apollo.

Wij houden ons bezig met alles dat komt kijken bij het draaiende houden van de bandrepetitieruimtes in de Vrijhof. Daarnaast houden wij contact met de bands die op de campus repteren en proberen wij optredens op de campus te regelen voor bands. Wij zijn als commissie aangesloten bij de cultuurkoepel Apollo.
