Woodstock Recording Studio is constantly seeking new inspiration and challenges.

We are therefore incredibly grateful that our Woodstock Recording Institute is receiving increasing national and international recognition for this.
Because we like to keep distinguishing ourselves, we have once again added something unique to our beautiful Woodstock Studio.

From now on, we can record analog at virtually any conceivable location with as many as 8 tracks, fully in stereo but with high-end audiophile analog sound quality.

Just imagine: recording in the woods, by the water, in the middle of the city, in a shopping mall, at a stadium during a game, or at the train station with all the background noise, in a church, or a characteristic old building. Alone, together with your band members, or during a spontaneous session at another special place — we can capture your music wherever you want.

And the best part? We are fully operational within about 15 minutes, without complicated setup or unnecessary equipment.

To make this possible, we have purchased two vintage SQN-4S Series IV Portable Mixers. These legendary field recorders from 1984 meet the BBC's high quality standards and are known worldwide for their exceptional sound quality.

Combined with a selection of special vintage microphones, including the Sennheiser MKH 805, MKH 416, MKH 50, MKH 415, and various other classics, we possess a mobile recording setup of exceptional quality.

In any case, we are incredibly enthusiastic about these new possibilities and look forward to capturing music with you at the most inspiring locations.

Woodstock Recording Studio is dagelijks op zoek naar nieuwe inspiratie en uitdagingen.

We zijn dan ook ontzettend dankbaar dat ons Woodstock Recording Instituut hiervoor steeds meer nationale én internationale waardering ontvangt.
Omdat we ons graag blijven onderscheiden, hebben we opnieuw iets unieks toegevoegd aan onze prachtige Woodstock Studio.

Vanaf nu kunnen wij op vrijwel iedere denkbare locatie analoog opnemen met maar liefst 8 sporen, volledig in stereo maar dan in high-end audiophile analoge geluidskwaliteit.

Stel je eens voor: opnemen in het bos, aan het water, midden in de stad, in een winkelcentrum, bij een Stadion tijdens een wedstrijd of op het station met alle bijgeluiden, in een kerk of een karakteristiek oud gebouw. Alleen, of samen met je bandleden of tijdens een spontane sessie op een andere bijzondere plek — wij kunnen jouw muziek vastleggen waar jij maar wilt.

En het mooiste? Binnen ongeveer 15 minuten zijn we volledig operationeel, zonder ingewikkelde opbouw of overbodige apparatuur.

Om dit mogelijk te maken hebben wij twee vintage SQN-4S Series IV Portable Mixers aangeschaft. Deze legendarische field recorders uit 1984 voldoen aan de hoge kwaliteitsstandaarden van de BBC en staan wereldwijd bekend om hun uitzonderlijke geluidskwaliteit.

Episode 1: The world is slowly discovering our Woodstock Recording music institute ☀️

From now on, I’ll be sharing a few episodes each month about the truly exceptional facilities of our beautiful Woodstock Recording Studio.

Musicians from all over the world often ask us: what does Woodstock Recording Studio actually offer when it comes to outboard gear, instruments, microphones, consoles, guitars and basses, amplifiers… you name it.
Everything you’ll see is available to anyone recording in our studio here in the Netherlands.

Episode 1: Reverb / Delay Guitar & Bass Corner (Live Room) Here’s a small glimpse into our Reverb & Delay Guitar and Bass Corner in the Live Room.

Alongside our impressive collection of recording spring reverbs — such as the legendary AKG BX 20-D and the AKG BX 25 with the rare MD-250 digital pre-delay module — as well as our two EMT 140 plate reverbs (Stereo Tube and Stereo Solid State), it’s fair to say we have something truly special when it comes to reverb and delay.

We also offer two Binson Echorecs from around 1962, both in perfect, recording-ready condition. And what makes it even more special: you can use them together with different delay settings. It truly creates a guitarist’s dream sound.

We also have a Fender Blackface Reverb Tank from around 1964… a real gem. You can use it with your own amplifier, or with one of the 40+ vintage amps available in our studio.

And don,t Forget our tape delays like our : Dynacord Klemt Echolette - Dynacord Echocord Super - Dynacord Echocord Mini - W-E-M Echo unit Custom Copycats - Carl Martin HeadRoom.

One of the great advantages of a standalone reverb and delay unit is that you place it at the front of your signal chain, instead of after it — like with a Fender Twin Reverb or most other combo amplifiers. This results in a completely different feel, with more depth and dynamic response.

We also have a unique Gibson Spring Reverb Tank from the 1960s. It’s solid-state and has a very distinct character.

And of course… we have dozens of guitar pedals, from vintage 1960s pieces till…

Pascale☀️ Winnares van The Winner Takes It All🎹

Wat een ongelooflijk mooie eerste ontmoeting bij onze met Pascale.
Wat een bijzondere, wereldse en veelzijdige muzikant is zij.

Niet alleen haar stem raakt je recht in het hart, maar ook haar spel op piano – en ze kan zelfs harp spelen – Dit laat zien hoeveel muzikaliteit en diepgang zij in zich draagt. Echt indrukwekkend.

Ik ben oprecht geraakt door haar persoonlijkheid, haar houding en haar pure aanwezigheid.
Samen met haar charmante moeder hebben we een prachtige middag beleefd. We hebben veel gedeeld, veel besproken… en vooral veel gevoeld.

Ook Jesse Borkens – producer, engineer en een echte duizendpoot (onthoud die naam 😉) – was erbij. Samen hebben zij deze middag op piano muzikaal omlijst. Het klopte gewoon. Alles.

Oh lieve ♥️mensen… dit zijn de momenten die mij zó gelukkig maken.
Hiervoor heb ik de studio gebouwd. Hiervoor doe ik wat ik doe.

Er gebeurt zoveel moois binnen ons Woodstock Muziek Instituut. En dit is nog maar het begin. Warme groetjes uit Enschede,

Pascale ☀️ – Winner of The Winner Takes It All 🎹

What an incredibly beautiful first meeting with Pascale at our .
What a special, worldly, and versatile musician she is.

Not only does her voice touch your heart, but also her piano playing—and she can even play the harp—shows off the sheer musicality and depth of her being. Truly impressive.

I was truly touched by her personality, her demeanor, and her pure presence.
Together with her charming mother, we had a wonderful afternoon. We shared a lot, discussed a lot… and, above all, felt a lot.

Jesse Borkens—producer, engineer, and true jack-of-all-trades (remember that name 😉)—was also there. Together, they provided the musical accompaniment to this afternoon’s piano performance. It was just perfect. Everything.

Oh, dear people… these are the moments that make me so happy. This is why I built the studio. This is why I do what I do.

So much beauty is happening within our Woodstock Music Institute.

vandaag is het moment waar ik met zoveel plezier naar uitgekeken heb

Daarnaast ben ik er enorm trots op te vertellen dat dit het eerste album is wat uitgebracht wordt onder het label van the One and only .nl in samenwerking met (thnx voor deze kans❤️)

Vorig jaar zomer Ben ik samen met: de ingedoken.
In drie dagen tijd hebben wij met 8 microfoons, een oude tapemachine en met bloed, zweet en tranen deze plaat opgenomen.

We proudly present our 7 different acoustic Woodstock Recording Studio pianos.
 
We personally believe there are few recording studios in Europe that offer such a wide range and diversity of acoustic pianos (in addition to our extensive collection of Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer electric pianos, etc.).
 
With us, you can choose from the following acoustic pianos, among others:
 
1. Grotrian Steinweg Grand Piano – Model 170 cm (1912)
One of the absolute gems of our studio. This grand piano is built entirely of rosewood (and not black lacquered, which clearly enhances its character). A high-end dream grand piano for recording and incredibly versatile.

2. Grotrian Steinweg Upright Piano – Model 110 / Walnut (from 1955)
This instrument tells a story in itself. With a truly unique timbre from one of the world’s leading piano makers (Germany). The piano is open at both the top and bottom (front). With the curtain in front, a three-dimensional soundscape is created.
A truly immersive experience, with a character all its own.
 
3. Yamaha U3 – MPX100 | 2 | XG Disklavier (1994)
This piano needs little explanation. What’s unique is that, in addition to MIDI, it can also play piano pieces acoustically in real time.
Thanks to the Disklavier system, where each key has its own motor, it can play back any pieces composed on your computer just like a real pianist.
 
4. Young Chang Upright Piano U3 – Model E-118 (1994)
A tight, powerful, and solid sound, and plays like butter.
Unique to this model is the special muting feature, which creates an exceptionally warm and full tone.
Wonderful for quiet passages and relaxed musical recordings.
I’m often enchanted by what pianists manage to achieve with this piano.
 
5 & 6. Yamaha CP-70B Pianos (1978)
We have two Yamaha CP-70B pianos from 1978.
Both instruments are in impeccable technical condition.
7. Honky-tonk Lindbergh U105 (1988)
This piano hasn’t been tuned in 35 years—a very conscious decision.
Perfect for atmospheric sounds, but also for that typical saloon piano sound.
