❗️Op 1 & 2 mei zijn we gesloten.

SWAP & SHARE: Kleding ruilen elke vrij- en zaterdag van 12:00-17:00

Zelf je kleding herstellen, upcyclen of werken aan je eigen handwerk, kan tijdens de openingsuren op vrijdag en zaterdag tegen een kleine vergoeding van € 5,00 voor materiaal, koffie en thee.

CRAFT & CREATE nieuwe stijl: aantal speciale workshops en events per jaar. De eerste in deze reeks: Bleekschilderen op 18 juni door Pearl tijdens WAK Enschede - Week van de Amateurkunst

SWAP & SHARE: Clothes swap every Friday and Saturday 12:00-17:00

You can repair or upcycle your own clothes, or bring your own handicraft, during opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays for a small fee of € 5,00 to cover materials, coffee and tea.

CRAFT & CREATE: a new series of special workshops and events throughout the year. The first in this series: Bleach Painting on 18 June by Pearl during WAK.

We mended our clothes at Ei van Ko in Enschede!
✊🌍🪡🧵☀️
We stitched a little bit, enjoyed the sun, had some good chats and met lovely people! ❤️

In Enschede, just as in many other cities around the world – such as London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Berlin, Gent, Madrid, Barcelona, Makhanda, Toronto, Sofia, Alexandria, Mexico City Stockholm and many others – people mended their clothes in public as a silent protest to campaign for a clean, fair, safe, transparent and ethical fashion industry.

Volgende week woensdag zijn we bij de Bieb en dan wordt Maakplaats053 omgedoopt tot ‘Glitter Maakplaats’!

Met onze DIY-activiteit gaan we een bestaand kledingstuk een nieuwe look of silhouet geven.
Je kunt óok je favoriete (kapotte) kledingstuk 👕meenemen, die een oppepper ✨ kan gebruiken!

En ook nog veel andere superleuke activiteiten binnen het thema!

For anyone who is interested, tonight we are holding our fortnightly Craft & Create evening from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. (doors open at 7:30 p.m.). 🤗

Craft & Create every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Looking forward to this special, exclusive evening for students of [Quenouille cyQlus 2026] at our OVERLAP Station! 🙌🪡👖🧵

Or did fall for yet another marketing scheme or got swept up into the newest social media trend? This has led to a society driven by overconsumption♻️ Change is possible at an individual level and during this night the first step can be taken!”

What to expect?
On the of 3rd of March, together with stichting Overlap, we are organising a night focused around this theme. It is an event open to everyone, so feel free to bring your friends and housemates to learn more together!👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏽 The night will consists of two parts:
1. Lecture about overconsumption 👩🏻‍🏫
2. Creative workshop, focused on learning techniques to prolong the lifespan of your clothing or other textile products. Options during this night are: repairing old items, creating a patch or learning techniques like Sashiko 🪡🧵

⏰Time: 19.00 - 22.00
