RE-OPENING of Museum Of The Future ⚡ - June 4, 20:00

This Saturday sees another launch of new artists in the ever evolving universe of GOGBOT Museum of the Future ->with works of Emma Schep, , and .mol. This in addition to the names already there, such as Floris Kaayk and .

Special guest of the evening is , WARP regular and student Creative Technology at . He will present his spaced out graduation project/installation BLOCK // SYSTEM (), a 360° A/V live show made in PLANETART's 360LAB.

During the second edition of Warp Jam last November, Annebel Bunt and Gael Philip joined forces. Annebel made a video that shows what happens inside Warp and Gael did the lyrics and music for the video.

What Annebel and Gael say about the video:
‘’Annebel: Here's my own contribution: Take an epic intergalactic tour through all the floors of WARP Technopolis during the WARP JAM (the 48hr Non-stop Creativity Contest)

Gael: The song lyrics describe the materialization of ink forming lines and words, which stimulates the visual perception in the listener. The music describes an epic quest through the numerous floors of the WARP building, a story based on figments of my own perception and memory of this weekend. These fictitious adventurous interdimensional travels to exhibitions are used to convey a deeper underlying message which questions perception, materialization and reality itself.’’

They have their headquarters just above Spacebar in Warp Technopolis (that’s that dark gray building at Stationsplein in Enschede). You might know them for organizing GOGBOT, TEC ART and many more projects. PLANETART has been the home of the electronic (r)age since 1995. 🖤Did you know the Warp building has a 360 beamer lab? It is a large room on the first floor of the building that is equipped with 8 beamers. Several students from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and AKI Academy of Art & Design already did their graduation project or internship there and artists have been experimenting with it. The immersive experience in this photo was done by Bas Arkes and Deev Bennes and was part of the graduating project of Bas. Bas created the interactive visuals and Deev worked on the interactive sound. This project actually got nominated for a Youngblood award.

⚡️⚡️⚡️On the ground floor of Warp Technopolis is Spacebar. Spacebar is a Futuristic Cyberpunk bar with live music, a great variety of special beers and damn good coffee! You can regularly see visitors gaming together fanatically in the Gameroom or admiring the exhibitions in our back alley while enjoying a drink. Accompanied by DJs blasting techno, drum & bass, acid, electro, and other electronic music through the soundsystem.

Because of government regulations the bar is temporarily closed, but soon the doors will open again! Go follow Spacebar to get notified when it is open again.
