The Choice to Stay

Not every unknown arrives with fear. Sometimes it arrives with wonder.

A mysterious presence descends from the sky, while a small dog watches without panic and a human figure remains grounded. The scene invites the viewer to ask a simple but profound question: What if the unknown is not here to take something from us, but to awaken our curiosity?

This artwork explores the delicate balance between imagination and reality, fear and fascination. It reminds us that the greatest discoveries often begin the moment we choose curiosity over certainty.

Sometimes a painting speaks the words the heart cannot.

I am honored to share that one of my artworks is part of the A.K.E. exhibition at Museum Collectie Brands in Nieuw-Dordrecht, the Netherlands.

To me, art is a quiet dialogue between light and shadow, vulnerability and strength. Every brushstroke carries a piece of my soul, with the hope that someone, somewhere, will recognize a part of themselves within it.
