Pitfest

Pitfest is a DIY crossover festival in Emmen (NL), filled with metal, hardcore and punk. Just 300 tickets available. The first edition was in 2016.

Our final edition will take place indoor at Melody Emmen on the 28th and 29th of May, 2027. Pitfest is the coolest crossover metal/punk/hardcore fest in The Netherlands. We bring you a bunch of badass bands, from death metal to punkrock, from grindcore to black metal, from old to new bands. From 2023, Pitfest is located in Emmen, in the northeast of the Netherlands. Emmen is very close to the Germ

an border and is less than 2 hours away from Amsterdam, about 3 hours from Belgium and about 2 hours from the Ruhrpott area. We have a festival camping available, close to the festival grounds. With a limited amount of camping spots. You can also take a camper/caravan.

Tickets go on sale on September 1, from 7:00 PM.

Pitfest 2027 will be the final edition, taking place on May 28 & 29.

For this last chapter, we go back to the roots: a small indoor setting, a low stage and no distance between band and crowd. No big production and no huge names — simply because that’s not what this is about, and not what this space allows.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙥 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙞𝙩𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚. Bands that were part of the journey and helped shape the festival over the years.

Capacity is limited to 300 weekendtickets.

Weekend tickets will be €100. With only 300 people in the room, this is what it takes to make a final edition like this possible, without compromising what Pitfest stands for.

We also won't be announcing bands right away. This final edition is for the people who believe in Pitfest, not for those chasing a particular name on a poster. We want the room filled with the community that built this festival over the past decade.
