Presenting: the Draco Radix, or Root Dragon!🥕🐉 Family of the mandrake, but dare I say, even cuter. I couldn’t decide which version I liked better: the fully colored one or the one with uncolored pencil sketches, which has more of a “field diary” feel to it.
The one thing I didn’t write about the Draco Radix here, is that when it’s wings have grown big and strong enough, it will fly out to other territory to find a mate.✨

He may look innocent, but he’s just waiting for his next meal… 👀✨ I made this little anglerfish/cat/frog cutie for , the theme was hybrid animals. Of course I had to participate, as you all know what my favorite thing to draw is!! hint: fantasy hybrid animals ;) Swipe for the sketch I did before painting it over digitally!

Also something some, but not all of you may know: I recently quit my (beloved) job at a café to focus more on illustration. So I’ll be sharing a lot more from now on!💚
