As a walk-by gallery in Eindhoven city centre, Salon Veneman gives stage to newfound artists and unknown talent.

Salon Veneman is a walk-by art gallery at Tongelresestraat 1. An initiative that was born during the pandemic. When everything was closed, people could still admire art and design through the windows of Salon Veneman. Every month, up-and-coming talent from the region is exhibited, curated by Woody Veneman. Salon Veneman offers art in an accessible way, engaging even casual passers-by with Eindhoven's culture.

Opening this Saturday at 3PM: Three of a Kind. For the first time, three generations of the Van Iersel family are united in a major exhibition. Gerard (1934), Rik van Iersel (1961) and Joshua van Iersel (1986) — grandfather, father and son — present work spanning more than sixty years in a single show.

In Climate Transition Pleasure, Myrthe Krepel explores how B**M can function as an embodied practice of knowledge for difficult emotions surrounding climate change. Drawing on the speculative framework of eco-B**M, she proposes a way to reshape these feelings through desire and pleasure. The ultimate goal is to use eco-B**M to encourage ecologically conscious behavior.

The Oosterhof exhibition features a diverse range of works that, when viewed collectively, unveil subtle connections. Recurring motifs, shared energies and visual echoes move through the pieces, as if ideas and images are passed along from one generation to the next. All From the Ball unfolds like a family gathering: a joyful burst of imagination and above all, a celebration of love.

Now on show: OOSTERHOF EXPO - ALL FROM THE BALL. All From the Ball brings together three generations of the Oosterhof family, showcasing the vibrant legacy of creativity that has been passed down through the generations. The result is not just a group exhibition, but a collective portrait of a family whose artistic impulses echo across time, media and personalities.

Working across painting, sculpture, theatre and film, each family member has developed their own visual language and approach to their work. Yet beneath these differences lies a shared sensibility: a fascination with movement and speed, the tension between life and death a sense of humour bordering on the absurd. Together they form a world populated by occult presences, monsters and fantastical beings. Their works are visually extravagant and unashamedly colourful, bursting with characters that seem simultaneously playful, strange and vividly real.

OOSTERHOF EXPO - ALL FROM THE BALL

‘All From the Ball’ brings together three generations of the Oosterhof family, tracing a line of creativity from grandfather to grandchild. Different creative practices come together around a shared origin to form a collective portrait of the family’s creative process.

The exhibition presents an eclectic mix of works spanning various forms of creation. When viewed together, the pieces read as both a family gathering and an opportunity to see how they connect, much like the balls.

Expect a blast of craziness and lots of love.
