Last days, we already introduced: Liamm McCall (only on Saturday), Annabel Koele, Elisa Zuppina (only on Thursday) , Qiao Chu Guo and Bram van Helden.
Today we finish the line-up with: Izah Hankammer - a drop could be a river - dance solo in creation & Paul Segers - Sloppy Prophet - Sculpture / Video installation

Izah Hankammer: a drop could be a river
What happens when a body creates sounds? In her current research, Izah is exploring the body and the voice as an untameable duet. In this improvised solo, she moves through an intimate encounter with her own physicality and voice, opening portals to unexpected textures and discovering how a sounding body can shift, command, and change a space. A poetic and playful exploration of the performing self.

The Sloppy Prophet walks through the forest in a bathrobe smoking ci**rs, talking to an old friend on the phone. In the space the Shiny Beast reacts to the protagonist on screen through sound and movements, but we can't exactly understand it's reaction. In this physical / virtual dialogue on some of the issues our Sloppy Prophet is obviously concerned with, his friend sometimes shows us a counter image of our prophet: lost in the dark and lit up by a bright light, like a rabbit caught in the headlights of a fast approaching car.

And on we go! introducing our guest artists of Seasoning Spring - March 27 & 28 at Art house United-C - 8.30 PM; after Liam McCall, Annabel Koele and Elisa Zuppini, today we introduce: Qiao Chu Guo - Half strings Half tongue -performance and Bram van Helden - Time of Things - performance

Qiao Chu Guo is a multidisciplinary artist working with sculpture, performance and drawings. They investigate the body as a medium and model for producing and transmitting knowledge, and get inspired by bodies marginalized within the archive: the diseased, the displaced, and the q***r. They explore how social structures define illness and non-normative forms, and take embodied experience as a departure point to challenge the dehumanization of historical records.

Bram van Helden - Time of Things
If you listen closely, you hear that everything vibrates. If you look closely, you see that everything is being pulled towards the earth.

Bram van Helden builds, tells stories, and makes things move in such a way that you are not sure if they are actually doing so. In this short, visual story about standing in life with wonder, he brings you into a slowed-down and contemplative state in 20 minutes, allowing you to see the things you previously walked past.

Elisa Zuppini - The Knot
In Elisa Zuppini’s performance The Knot, the body transforms through a tangled series of sculptures, where choreographic knots appear visceral, formal, and evocative. Through their dynamic tension, these intricate bindings generate motion that embraces spaces beyond its writing. Continually redefining its boundaries, the work evokes an erotic dispersal of what resides inside and beyond choreography itself, ultimately seeking to reorient thought and inspire a reinvention of our ongoing affective relationship with the body.
Informed by Jean-Luc Moulène’s notion of the knot as “a tangled and complex situation, the kind of labyrinth one goes through to arrive at a solution,” the work approaches the knot not merely as a geometric or symbolic form, but as a lived situation—a dynamic relation shaping between performer and spectator.

Annabel Koele - CULUMUS - give me your weight - give me your weight
A physical exploration of carrying a body; carrying meaning; carrying history; carrying a mass; carrying an intangible weight. The weight of responsibility, the weight of beauty, the weight of freedom and restriction. With a fascination for clouds connected to the strength and resilience of women, Annabel shares her new research ‘CUMULUS’. This solo presentation is a work-in-progress that Annabel began during a residency in Zagreb (December 2025), and is now being presented in the Netherlands for the first time. Seasoning Spring upcoming! March 27&28 at Art house United-C - 8.30 PM. And what a line-up we have! dance, performance, installation, research...From today we introduce our guest artists.
We kick -off with: Liam McCall - FR/AGILE - dance solo (only on Saturday)

How do we hold on to light in a world that seems to keep getting more dark? What is life but a collection of problems to deal with? A collection of problems we keep dragging along with us. New ones get added, weighing on our souls, and we wonder why our backs hurt.
FR/AGILE is an honest and experimental dance solo in which Liam McCall tries to find a way to unify his fragility and agility. It’s a plea for the need for vulnerability in HipHop, combining Dance and Light to reveal his raw human self through his Bboying form.

In 2022 FR/AGILE won the Best of Fringe Amsterdam Award.
Since then Liam has toured with this piece through festivals, and re-iterated the piece through his ongoing practise combining dance and light. He has re-made the work on other bodies (touring now in his double bill program called Breaking Light), and will tonight, step into the piece himself again.

A program with new work, with new energy and with the invitation to take time to watch, to wonder, to absorb and to catch the details. From Monday on, we will introduce our guests.

Another Sleeping Beauty - United Cowboys - on March 14 at Verkadefabriek Den Bosch - 8.30 PM. Feel Welcome!

In the version of United Cowboys, the romance, court culture, and delicacy of The Sleeping Beauty are unceremoniously exchanged for genuine rawness, absurdity, and a very different kind of beauty: that of rebellion. This "Another Sleeping Beauty" echoes a reflection on humanity; for doesn't one think of roses more readily as sharp, stinging thorns than as beautiful, blooming flowers? Audience reactions: The always thrilling, hallucinatory, and recalcitrant nature of United Cowboys' performances is superb! Performer Conor Doherty steals the show with his stage presence and experience. There are also several beautiful dance elements with dance music, in which the cast of dancers excelled… Superb! It's wonderful to watch United Cowboys, without knowing what's happening and just lettng it all sink in. Surprising what's to come and challenging in the boundaries they push with beautiful music. Wonderful to watch and experience! Theatre at the highest level.

In the frame of our live-art nights 'What U.C. Is What You Get' at Natlab, we initiated a photo portrait series highlighting local residents with an object of meaning (by Galjaard) alongside artist portraits, featuring individuals that are part of our large artist community (by van der Put).

This series will grow over the course of this long-term event series and will be presented at Natlab and online.
