All covered up!
For this project I only knew a couple details…
She wanted Neo-traditional Japanese style, and loves flowers and animal tattoos. Just from that info I started to draw. Showed her the design and she immediately liked what she saw. The only thing was that she needed to be sure we where on the same idea level of combining color and detail. So I did that towards the day of tattooing. Showed her and got a green light.
Now everytime I see her she tells me how happy she is, and with her the people around her tell me as well.
That’s why I do what I do. Making people happy is the goal I want to reach every day.

Two styles of a martial art in conflict with each other. The crane representing balance and patience, The snake speed and agility. Colliding in a battle for victory.

Spend some time to get the details right on this design. To make the colors easy for the eye, but also in good contrast. Making the feathers a bit more wilder but in a whole still calm enough to not lose track of what you see.
