ONTHULLING NIEUW BEELD

Met trots presenteer ik op zaterdag 14 november aanstaande tijdens de Internationale FIFe kattenshow Felikat mijn nieuwste bronzen sculptuur: Clemmie ( Clementine)
De onthulling vindt plaats tijdens het feestelijke 40-jarig jubileum van het SIOK — een bijzonder moment op een bijzondere locatie, omringd door kattenliefhebbers uit binnen- en buitenland.

Ruim een jaar heb ik gewerkt aan het boetseren van deze levendige, nieuwsgierige en speelse poes. In Clemmie wilde ik niet alleen de elegantie van de slanke kat vangen, maar vooral haar karakter: alert, eigenzinnig en altijd in beweging.

Het beeld is ontworpen om echt tot leven te komen in haar omgeving. Zo kan Clementine spelend worden geplaatst boven op een hoge kast, buffetkast of kookeiland, waar ze je recht in het gezicht lijkt aan te kijken — alsof ze ieder moment verder kan springen.

Maar ook aan de waterkant voelt zij zich thuis. Geplaatst bij een vijver blijkt Clementine te vissen, terwijl in de reflectie van het water haar kop en expressieve blik prachtig zichtbaar worden.

Clemmie is een ode aan de kat: sierlijk, ondeugend en onweerstaanbaar aanwezig. Ik nodig u van harte uit om haar op 14 november zelf te komen ontmoeten tijdens deze feestelijke jubileumeditie van de Internationale Kattenshow in Beverwijk.

In de afgelopen maanden ben ik bezig geweest om te kijken of ik nog andere dingen kan creëren dan ons mooie kattenras:)
Deze beide plasticine beelden zijn nog niet klaar, maar in ontwikkeling en zullen binnenkort worden afgerond en gegoten!
Na deze uitstapjes kom ik binnenkort terug op Clementine, de vissende poes die buiten vissend bij de vijver kan staan of binnen op de kast, hengelend naar degene die langs loopt…😅

I started studying and measuring cats at Marjan Bazelmans’ Cattery Katzwijm for my new sculpture to be named Clementine!! I will start building Clementine next January!

Meet C L E M E N T I N E !!

Now that the last Atheca brothers will be delivered next 2 month there is some peace in my head to think about the next project!
This fall/winter I want to start sculpting my new sculpture and
I deliberately chose the name Clementine to honor my true friend, she actually saved my life by donating one of her kidneys!
Th### again Clemmie!

Clementine, the sculpture is a young lady, slender, feisty and lean...she can stand indoors on the closet or windowsill, countertop and slap down what they love to do when someone walks by or she stand outside, fishing in the pond or just on a nice high hard stone pillar 🙂

If you would like to be sure to get your own copy of Clementine (completely without obligation), it is wise to register via a PM, because there are already several interested parties listed…

The final casting in bronze hopefully will only take place next year around the summer of 2023, provided that all raw materials and energy are still available at that time…
For this sculpture no more than 20 registered copies (with certificate to secure the authenticity) are offered for sale worldwide.
No down-payment is required before next year between spring and summer...

Hooraayhhh!!!
And now they have a steady door in Skopje’s catshelter!!! Pretty normal you would say here…but in Macedonia not so…All so Maja can now safely rescue those poor asaulted/mistreated kittycats behind a closed door…

Great work has been achieved by skilled stonemasons who mounted this Atheca perfectly on a stone pilar in Switserland!
Great collaboration👌🏼
Great spot at a pond, Atheca will be surrounded by lots of dragonflies in Summer:)
