"This time, I'm really going to change..." - only to run back to the same old thing. Israel did the same. While Moses met with God on Mount Sinai, the people made a golden calf and worshiped it.

Their failure shows us the truth: we cannot save ourselves.
We need a Saviour.
Where Israel failed, God was faithful and where we fall short, Jesus Christ was perfect.
