Where can you experience Bosch Parade 2026? 📍Bosch Parade sails along the Dommel River in the heart of ’s-Hertogenbosch.

The parade route starts at the Willemsbrug, near restaurant Buurt, and ends at the Garden of Earthly Delights, located at the foot of the Citadel.

Planning to visit the Garden of Earthly Delights? You can find the entrance at Zuid-Willemsvaart 2, ’s-Hertogenbosch. Please note that the site is only accessible on foot or by bicycle.

Sommige hartenkreten worden nooit hardop uitgesproken. Maak kennis met Sending out an S.O.S, een poëtisch kunstwerk van Fenna Koot & Emmie Liebregts.

Bij tegenslag en verlangen horen hartenkreten. Maar wat doe je ermee? Hoe geef je ze de ruimte? Sending out an S.O.S biedt een antwoord: jouw wens, vraag of roep om hulp als flessenpost.

Geïnspireerd door een middeleeuwse traditie waarbij zeelieden bij averij en onheil hun laatste hulpkreten in flessen overboord gooiden, blazen Fenna en Emmie dit eeuwenoude gebruik nieuw leven in. Dit voorjaar konden patiënten en medewerkers van het Jeroen Bosch Ziekenhuis hun wensen, vragen en hartenkreten achterlaten in speciaal voor dit project gemaakte glazen flessen.

In deze video zie je glasblazer Marc Barreda aan het werk. Met vuur, adem en vakmanschap vormt hij de flessen die deze persoonlijke boodschappen dragen.

Tijdens Bosch Parade keren de flessen terug in Sending out an S.O.S. Als echo’s van verre hartenkreten drijven ze mee, hoopvol laverend naar betere tijden.

Een ontroerend kunstwerk over gehoord worden .

The artworks are arriving at the Garden of Earthly delights. Will all those boundless fantasies and crazy designs actually stand up to the elements?

Will they float, will they move? Will the sounds ring out, will the images come through? Will they do what they’re supposed to do?

Meerklank, for example, the large water bike instrument with uneven sound wheels by Studio Onderstroom appears to have passed its initial tests successfully: the ‘water walkers’ made rapid progress in their bobbing treadmills. But many other challenges still lie ahead.
