We hold open improv jams throughout the academic year, every Thursday at 19:00 at the X TU Delft, in Rhythm. We're the Delft Improv Group. The only English spreaking improvisational theater group in Delft. A large portion consists off (international) students, but our group also includes non TU affiliated people. So, basically everybody is welcome. We mostly focus on short-form improv, where we pe

rform short scenes. To get an impression of what we do, just google 'Whose Line Is It Anyway' or, for Dutch people, 'De Lama's'. We do also have our moments when we do musical improv and (semi-)long form. To hone our improv skills, we have a weekly Jam every Thursday in RHYTHM at X TU delft (Mekelweg 8). Besides this, we have events for our members, like movie nights, game nights, etc. We also have regular performances at the TU Delft as well as theater festivals such as Delft Fringe, or the Amsterdam Improv Marathon. Membership fees are € 78 for one year (please note that we follow the academic year, so a membership will last till August 31th at the latest). Interested, but not sure yet whether it's for you? There's only one place in all of space and time where brave adventurers from a far kingdom arrive late and miss the dragon they were supposed to hunt, where the Jedi teach their Padawans how to fight dirty, where the DMV demands you fill the forms with your own blood, and where monks perfect the art of avant-garde bowling.

That special place was our February 1st show brought to life by Moham, , , Mark and .

Not all theatre is made the same. Some rehearse shows for months until every line becomes second nature. And then there's improv, where even the players don't know what will come next.

We are DIG, and we are the latter.

Every time we step on the stage, we listen to the people and build a once-in-a-lifetime story. It might be heartfelt. It may be dramatic. But mostly it's a good old silly comedy. Because there's no better way to spend a Friday evening than watching ridiculous characters getting into ever goofier and unexpected situations.

Intrigued? Well, great news. For the first time ever, we will be performing at the OPEN Library Delft on Friday, April 24th.

There are no tickets. Just bring all your friends, partners, parents, dates, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, neighbours, roommates, and your pet goldfish.

Four actors walked onto the stage alone.
One by one, each was handed a script they had never seen before.
Each read it to the very last page and brought their own personal spin to White Rabbit, Red Rabbit.

Four shows.
Four solo performances.
Each unique. Each different.

Joost, Dalimír, Shibu, and Jasper, thank you for taking on the challenge and trusting the unknown.

A huge thank you to for introducing us to this play and supporting us throughout the run, and of course to for writing the play.

While this wasn’t our usual kind of production, we have plenty more coming up.

🎉 Happy New Year from all of us at DIG! 🎉

We wish 2026 to be your best year yet, and that you get to do and achieve everything you set out to.

As for our New Year’s resolutions, we’ve got plenty of exciting projects coming your way.
We’re starting the year with the second round of White Rabbit, Red Rabbit on January 6th. Make sure to get your tickets via the link in our bio.

Our jams will resume from January 8th, and we’re very excited to see you all again.

We’ll also be bringing you a show, towards the end of each month, with some special and experimental ones sprinkled in.

Thursday the 27th, there will be no improv.
Instead, we will hold our first General Members Assembly of the year.

Congratulations to Siert for getting the first ever official DIG Jam Leader Diploma!! We always love your jams and you have lead a ton over the years so it is only fitting that you receive the first. Keep up the great jams and the weird energy that we all love :)
