Carousel After Dark presents 📣
… Frank Sanazi!

Frank Sanazi - ‘Ze Ubermeister of Lounge’ - brings a New Order and discipline to the usually more relaxed comedy/swing scene. An unnerving comedic mix of the singing legend Frank Sinatra and the infamous dictator Adolf Hi**er. He is a mockery of dictatorship and Na**sm. Not a tribute act, but a powerful satire ridiculing the Extreme Right. Frank reworks The Rat Pack’s classics with his own extreme renditions, which he calls “Uneasy listening”. These hilarious numbers include such hits as “Third Reich” and “Strangers On My Flight”. His material is in the spirit of The Producers and The Great Dictator, continuing a tradition of ridiculing the N***s pioneered by comedians like Mel Brooks, and continued by Sacha Baron Cohen. Frank has performed all around the world, from Australia and Switzerland to Israel, where his shows have been highly acclaimed by the press.

His satire is both shocking and genius.
And he is truly a great singer.
A perfect addition to the Carousel!

'An eccentric free spirit,' is how violinist Eva van der Sterren prefers to describe herself. Anyone who has seen her on stage immediately understands why. Her extroverted, radiant stage presence invariably draws attention.

As an improviser, Van der Sterren blends diverse influences. The sentiment from her mother's homeland, Poland, with her fondness for hardrock, for example. But she also expresses the Spanish temperament that has grown into her character in this mix. With her unique style, boundless energy, and passion for experimentation, Van der Sterren manages to surprise and captivate her audience time and again. Her playing moves, stimulates, and transcends genres.
