This is me, like to dance but when I’m in my studio I’m totally calm. But sometimes you need to express yourself and letting the stress behind. My branding is painting flowers in realism because that’s what I love but you see in the video two different paintings, a deer and a tree. These where commissions so that’s the reason why but my skills getting better and that’s why I want to show them to you. Some of the paintings I’ve made years ago, a few older and one that I’m still working on. Do you see which one? Tell me

Yes, the large flower is a big step forward. I painted the stamens and the pistil; they now have three layers of oil paint on them, and as you can see, this creates more depth and color. Tomorrow I'm going to make a new palette and tackle the green leaves. I'm looking forward to it!

Ja de grote bloem is een grote stap verder. Ik heb de meeldraden en de stamper geschilderd, die hebben nu drie lagen olieverf erop zitten en zoals je ziet krijg je daardoor meer diepte en meer kleur te zien. Morgen ga ik een nieuw palet maken en pak ik de groene bladeren aan. Heb er zin in!

When I was cleaning up my studio my son was playing with my phone and the gimbal only I was not aware of that other wise I wasn’t making so much noise 🫣😊 it’s funny and frustrating to see how the light that comes from the window can affect the colors by filming. See here the results

Making a picture of my painting to show you the progress is hard because of the light that comes from the window. So I show you 2 pictures to see what I’m talking about 🫣🤭

This is so much fun!
I'll take you through the process, from beginning to end.
When I started adding color, I also added details like the water droplets, but you only do that at the end.
It wasn't practical, so I just painted over it again.
Meanwhile, I discovered a different way to mix colors, so the entire painting got a new layer with the correct color painted on.
There's still a flower in the left corner that I want to change, and once that's done, I can start adding the details!

When I’m in the process of painting I made pictures. And every time I see parts that are good but also what needs to be changed to make it better. So I continue to make it better 😊 👌

Altijd fijn om de laatste laag erop te schilderen, oftewel varnish. Mooie g***s, kleuren worden intenser en goed beschermd.

Van de eerste laag met olieverf tot en met de derde laag met olieverf. Zoals je ziet wordt het met de laag echter. Uiteindelijk komen er nog twee lagen bij dus ik ga nog lekker door met schilderen.
