Leer de beginselen van het op ingenieuze wijze versieren van meubilair/houten objecten. Marqueterie en intarsia wordt al sinds eeuwen gedaan. Als je de basistechnieken hebt geleerd van docent Andreas Joost, kan dit een hele leuke hobby zijn om thuis voort te zetten: accessoires en meubelstukken pimpen.

The flower arrangement was made by a Dutch artist in ceramics, a great piece of work.

Workpiece side table with functional presentation construction, inspired by Vincent van Gogh's famous "Sunflowers", scale 1:12. The flowers are in veneer in manual labor inlaid from various fine woods. The table itself is made of walnut, the hinge is hand made and the whole is finished in polish.

A great hobby!

Since my childhood I have been working on modelling. A few years ago, I came into contact with miniature furniture on scale 1:12 by my good friend Gradus Ulfman. I have always admired his perfectionism and creativity but have not dared to start with it myself. Last year I made the decision to also practice this course under the guidance of Gradus. Meanwhile, a workshop has been set up with all the needed tools.

In the albums you can see some of my work pieces. Everything is made with hand tools, only fine woods are processed and for the finish only polishing is applied. Great fun to do!

It would be nice to receive your findings, suggestions and comments.
