Making this for all those Unicorns🦄 out there who need to protect their inner joy🦹‍♀️🤗🏵..this one is inspired by you.
Its an intricate work full of patterns, difficult fabrics (skai and silk)sculpting the right shape handpainting, 'berazzling' and a whole lot of love and dedication!
Can't wait to finish it..but enjoying the process even more!

So honored to have created the 3rd collection of costumes for the more then incredible new theatermaker Sarada Sarita and her piece Q4: Quantified. It went in premiere yesterday at Korzo....and it blew my mind! Everything was like a very structural dream but completely absorbing you to be in the moment..a very unique combination .
The Costumes were constructed and handpainted inspired by the 7 Chakra's and the Tree of Life. Further more the direct inspiration of the dance style New Way Vogue dominated the design using neutral and clean colours, construction to maximize the flexibility of the body and have a unisex look at the same time. It was an intense but life enhancing experience and it made me grow as a designer and as a human! Thank you for the amazing show Sarada Sarita, Carlotta Ippolito, Venla Miila Kaarina Keskinen, Xiomara Virdó, Nagato, Moa and Guillermo Blinker. Gratitude and so much loving emotions when I think of yesterdays event New Dance Studios 10th Anniversary: New Dance presents Friends! Honored and blessed to perform 'Womanity' with my girls Emma Vredeveld and Emma Pondman and more then incredible guitarist Tijn van der Sanden! Beautiful dancers all around, beautiful audience all around, beautiful organisation all around, beautiful weather and location! Sigh ...what more can I ask for! thank you Glenn Westphal for this opportunity and for your dedication and hard work for making it happen so gracefully and yes once again BEAUTIFUL!
