The Cathedral of Speed Assen is the only venue to have held a round of the Motorcycle World Championship every year since its creation in 1949.

The circuit was purpose built for the Dutch TT in 1955, with previous events having been held on public roads. The track is narrow, with rapid changes in direction, and is fully surrounded by grass banks and grandstands, providing excellent viewing for the hundreds of thousands of fanatical spectators who are drawn to the most prestigious event in Dutch motorsport every year. A huge favourite with riders, Assen is well known for its festive and extravagant atmosphere.

🏁 British Superbike Championship komt naar Assen!

Het laatste raceweekend voor Assen zit erop. Vanaf nu zijn alle ogen gericht op The Cathedral of Speed. 🇳🇱

Van 18 t/m 20 september komt het British Superbike Championship naar TT Circuit Assen voor de Showdown-races. De strijd om het kampioenschap gaat verder op Assen.

🏁 TABAC Classic GP Assen komt eraan!

Van historische racemotoren tot indrukwekkende formulewagens: er is drie dagen lang volop actie op en naast de baan.

🏎️ Interserie – F1-auto’s met V8- en V10-motoren van onder andere Benetton en Toro Rosso en eenzitters uit de Formule 2, GP2 en World Series V8.

🏍️ Een bijzondere collectie van 150 historische racemotoren komt naar Assen, waaronder de Honda-zescilinder van Mike Hailwood, de Suzuki 500 XR14 van Barry Sheene en de MV Agusta van John Surtees.

🏁 Pitwalk tijdens British Superbike Championship !

Goed nieuws voor alle BSB-fans! Ook dit jaar is er op zaterdag én zondag een pitwalk tijdens de British Superbike op TT Circuit Assen.

Loop door de pitstraat, bekijk de teams en motoren van dichtbij en proef de sfeer achter de schermen. 🏍️

⏰ De exacte tijden maken we later bekend.

Good news for all BSB fans! There will be a pit walk on both Saturday and Sunday during the British Superbike Championship at TT Circuit Assen.

Walk through the pit lane, get up close to the teams and bikes, and experience the atmosphere behind the scenes. 🏍️

Op zaterdag 29 augustus is de JMPB Bromfietts weer van de partij. Of je nu zelf meerijdt of komt kijken: de vele bijzondere bromfietsen zorgen voor genoeg moois om te bewonderen!”

🇳🇱 British Superbike Championship at The Cathedral of Speed!

Nog even terug naar de British Superbikes van vorig jaar. Een weekend vol races op het TT Circuit Assen, maar ook volop gelegenheid om de BSB van dichtbij te beleven.

Rondlopen door de paddock, de teams aan het werk zien en oog in oog staan met de coureurs. En zodra de motoren de baan op gingen: genieten van volop raceactie. 🏁
