[ FRAGMENTS ]
"Speculative reconstructions in paper pulp"

In recent months I have been working as a co-designer on the research of Dutch professor Jacob de Baan’s 'Oldest Reconstructed Ceramic Vessel', conducted as part of 西交利物浦大学’ - XJTLU Design School funded research program. Happy to be partners in this research project together with Jacob de Baan, KIMVI nguyen, and Haiyi Zhou 周海艺.

Engaging with material-based design studies of the Yuchanyan Vessel, the work is featured at CIFF | China International Furniture Fair
Guangzhou in China 2026 (March 18–21).

I would like to sincerely thank the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Guangzhou for making it possible for me to travel to China in March. Thanks to your support, I will be able to attend the exhibition in person, expand my professional network, explore opportunities for future collaborations, and research materials, techniques, and crafts on site.

[ URN ]

I am honored to have been able to create this urn for the loving family of a deceased couple. Today it was collected and will soon be given a beautiful resting place at a natural burial ground, where these two beloved souls will be fully embraced by nature.

🤍 May the beautiful memories live on forever.

The urn is made from recycled paper and a biodegradable binding agent.
