La Epoca - The True Soul Of Salsa - es una initiativa desde la Capital de Los Paises Bajos para promocionar La Salsa como genero musica en su expresion desde las raices. Promocionamos todo relacionado a la real cultura salsera: desde el Mambo via el Cha Cha Cha, La Pachanga, Boogaloo, Shingaling, Salsoul al la Salsa de los 70 y Latin Jazz. Sessiones y eventos regulares.

𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒍ó𝒏 1950 - 2026. 💔😔 We just received the tragic news. today we say goodbye to another salsa giant. Born in the Bronx, Willie brought the streets of New York to life through his music and became one of the most influential figures in the history of salsa.

A visionary trombonist, producer, and bandleader, he gave the world music that carried both struggle and celebration. His sound defined an era and brought joy to millions across generations. He was one of the greatest, a true pillar of our culture.

This is heartbreaking news. We will be honoring his music even more in the coming period, celebrating everything he gave to our community.

WE ARE BACK! On Saturday, 28 February, we’re teaming up once again with Soho House Amsterdam for a very special edition celebrating 𝟐 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒂 𝑬𝒑𝒐𝒄𝒂 hosted at one of the city’s most exclusive venues.

To give back to our community, this event is completely free 🤍

We’re kicking off the year with an exclusive salsa night on the 5th floor, featuring Vinyl Salsa and a live performance by Evelyn Dupuy & her band and she I’ll also be celebrating her birthday with us.

𝑹𝒂𝒇𝒂𝒆𝒍 𝑰𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒓( 1926–2025). 🕊️ Today, the world has lost another salsa legend. The founder of El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico And one of the most important figures in the history of Puerto Rican salsa has left us at 99 years old. 🇵🇷😔

Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones. We are losing more and more of our salsa legends, and moments like this remind us how essential it is to keep their legacy alive.
