Last week on October 4th, the Lebrón Brothers were honored with “The Lebrón Brothers Way” at the corner of Bushwick Avenue and Stagg Street in Brooklyn, the neighborhood where they grew up.

Formed in Brooklyn in 1965, the Puerto Rican group helped shape the sound of salsa and boogaloo in New York. The brothers built a musical legacy that reached far beyond New York. The tribute recognizes their contribution to salsa in the very streets where they got their start.

The streets of New York are looking more and more like our record collection. 🗽❤️

Led by Venezuelan trumpeter Oscar “Chucky” Cordero, La Época All Stars is our official house band,🎺

The orchestra will make its live debut on 𝟐𝟗 𝑨𝒖𝒈𝒖𝒔𝒕 at 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐮𝐞𝐯𝐚 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐭, joined by two international artists. 🎙️🕺🏻

Expect a repertoire rooted in ’60s and ’70s Salsa Dura, honoring the legendary composers and arrangers who shaped the sound, culture and soul of salsa.

We’re taking La Epoca to the next level with our FIRST EVER Outdoor XL Edition with a salsa block party!

We’re stepping outside Amsterdam and taking over Beton-T in 𝑼𝑻𝑹𝑬𝑪𝑯𝑻, transforming it into a Spanish Harlem block party dedicated to the golden era of New York salsa from the 60s and 70s.📻

𝑵𝑬𝑾: Introducing the “𝑳𝒂 𝑬𝒑𝒐𝒄𝒂 𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒔” - our own live band featuring some of the finest Latin musicians in the Netherlands, bringing back the raw sound of 70s New York salsa straight from El Barrio.

Expect: vinyl sets, live music, Latin foodcourt, domino game area, workshops, and much more.
