Kunsthuizen is opening a new gallery in Haarlem this autumn!

We are delighted to share some exciting news: this autumn, Kunsthuizen will open a new gallery in the heart of Haarlem, at Gedempte Oude Gracht 108.

Following the success of our existing galleries, we are very much looking forward to creating an inspiring new space in Haarlem, where both first-time art buyers and experienced collectors will feel welcome. The new gallery will present a carefully curated collection of contemporary art by our established artists. A place to explore at your own pace, find inspiration and receive personal advice in discovering an artwork that truly suits you.

Over the coming months, we will be working hard to prepare the new gallery. Through our newsletter and social media channels, we will keep you updated on our progress, the official opening date and, of course, the festive opening celebration.

We look forward to welcoming you to Kunsthuizen Haarlem soon!

Voor onze nieuwe galerie zijn wij op zoek naar een enthousiaste Galerie Adviseur (fulltime, woensdag t/m zondag).

Ben jij gastvrij, commercieel ingesteld en heb je affiniteit met kunst en interieur? Dan zijn wij op zoek naar jou! Je verwelkomt bezoekers, adviseert klanten bij het vinden van het perfecte kunstwerk en zorgt ervoor dat de galerie er iedere dag verzorgd en inspirerend uitziet.

Je komt terecht in een warm team, krijgt veel ruimte voor eigen initiatief en werkt dagelijks tussen prachtige kunstwerken in een groeiende organisatie.

Exciting news! This autumn, Kunsthuizen is opening a brand-new gallery in Haarlem!

Located at Gedempte Oude Gracht 108, our new gallery will be a welcoming place to discover contemporary art, find inspiration and receive personal advice.

Zen by Daniël Martin!
Layers of paint, sweeping brushstrokes and textured details give ZEN its expressive character. Soft neutral tones are contrasted by touches of pink, yellow and blue, while carefully painted features emerge from the abstraction.

Working with oil and acrylic on canvas, Daniël Martin builds his portraits layer by layer. Bold, energetic brushstrokes meet finer painted details, creating a tension between abstraction and recognition.

In TOM, soft and muted tones give the work a quiet intensity, while fragments of the face emerge through the expressive layers of paint.

Siberians by David Yarrow!
The Siberians is a big moment in my journey. It is visceral and demands attention. As someone said to me soon after I took it, there is a deadly serenity to the image. I could not have expressed it better myself. Pleasingly, all the tigers are pin sharp, so I got my maths right. Indeed, it almost looks like the cover of an HBO boxset. As with The Sopranos, I hope they all become stars. They made a great picture for me that day in North East China.

Numbered and handsigned and comes with signed Certificate of Authenticity.

The photograph is framed in a very exclusive handmade black wooden block frame with hand-tensioned cotton passe-partout and museum glass.
