After studying Graphic Arts at Accademia delle Belle Arti in Bologna, I graduated in an International Master (Interactive Media and Environment) at the Frank Mohr Institute, in Groningen (The Netherlands), now I live and work in Amsterdam
The interest for music is innate in my art practice, and I connects this field with new and classical media. In fact, my body of work includes sculptures, drawin
g and media installation. Although my graphic background is always visible through the use of lines, signs and black and white, my passion for the sound structure is bringing me to explore relations with light, water, and other intangible elements discovering how are all naturally linked. I prefer to think of my work as in-between sound and visual in the grey area of cognitive perception: on this sense, I always pursued the creation of experience rather than objects, even when I used classic media such as photography, printmaking or drawing. Lately, I am utilising mostly sound and light as media, but still with a timeless passion for drawing that I keep caring on and relate to my entire production. Furthermore, I'm developing a strong interest in Design, both for a digital and physical outcome, offering my creative skill for light design, web design, 3d modelling, electronics prototypes and more as a freelancer.
