KalliVoodoo live art in public space.

In a time where people have the need to re-discover simple rituals for connecting with nature and each other, KalliVoodoo engages people with the means of live art into a memorable experience with deeper meaning. It combines ecological, social and political aspects merged in a subtle way and spreads the message that social sustainability is a precondition for environmental sustainability. It presents a glimpse into the mysteries of live by magically extracting people's gifts and bonding each and every one. The generated energy with the activities stimulate the quest for finding identity, initiates conversations on relevant subjects and creates real truth in the here and now. Each of the activities launches a spark to recognize the power of the collective.

spring 2020 after the flower upgrade

BuzzStop is a magical work of art that brings bees and people together. It is a meditative place to chill among wild pollinators that flutter around. It is a spiral of braided willow branches. Once one has arrived in the centre one can find a place to sit down to think, meditate and enjoy nature. In the first seasons it was an experiment by replanting all types of flowers from within the garden, including 'weeds'. But weeds do not exist and was made part of the overall permaculture plan. This season, the plan is to plant a large variety of 'wilds and locals'. An ode to the original nature and to art in public and semi-public space. The BuzzStop at no. 77 is in fact freely accessible to the public during the opening hours at the Nieuwe Levenskracht garden park in Amsterdam East.

Just filming the exhibition so you know what to expect. Remember it is a crowd funding event and already quite some prints found new homes! People love it, stoned and sober

Het was een hele mooie opening! De werken hangen trots te glimmen en stoned en nuchter was men enthousiast. Mijn moeder en zus waren voor het eerst in een coffeeshop en vonden het reuze relaxed. We gaan nu aan onze ‘virtuele zichtbaarheid’ werken. Maar ik kan mensen pas taggen als ze onze pagina liken.
Naar Coffeeshop Siberië komen is de komende twee maanden extra aan te raden.

Vandaag! Bijna alles klaar... ik zou echt aanraden om te komen want de expositie wordt mooi en het zou ook best eens heel gezellig kunnen worden
