We are proud to present the newest cast member for The Unplanned Musical. Jenny Hasenack.
Here is what you should know about Jenny:Jenny is an improv player and teacher from Utrecht. With her background as a chemist, she quickly discovered that connections between people are just as fascinating as those between atoms. Her favorite kind of improv is the one she is currently doing, which can be anything from post-apocalyptic horror to wholesome romcom to a fun game of one-word-at-a-time. Jenny loves singing and musical theatre, and is overjoyed she now gets to play with The Unplanned Musical. Welcome, Jenny!!⁸

We are proud to introduce the new AD for the musical cast...Mark Hoover. 😍
Mark grew up in Chicago, one of the birthplaces of modern improv, which perhaps makes it inevitable that he found his way to The Unplanned Musical. He has been part of the ensemble since its founding in 2022, performing alongside the cast as the company found its voice, its confidence, and its audience.
He steps into the role of Artistic Director with deep respect for the vision Emma established: bringing fully improvised musical theatre to Amsterdam’s stages. He is excited to push that vision further, evolving the ensemble with new voices and continuing to explore what the genre can be, celebrating the unique joy of music and story discovered live, in the moment, together with the audience.

After 3 years of being the Artistic Director of The Unplanned Musical, Emma Wessleus is stepping down to focus more on teaching and performing.
She has conceived and grown the cast for 3 years, ensuring consistently high quality shows, growing vocal skills and delivering easy laughs to the audiences.
We cannot be more grateful to Emma, for her energy, time, ideas and dedication. And we’re excited for her next steps.
As for who fills the shoes of the Artistic Director of Unplanned Musical… stay tuned for some exciting news very soon!

On June 5th, we have a stand-up graduation show and the easylaughs cast will improvise scenes based on their sets. It's time for Comedy Cocktails, cheers!
(Note: there won't be real cocktails during the show, unless you buy them at the bar ar CREA, we recommend the unit, which is non-alcoholic and very refreshing.)
