Painting British battledress.
The crew to the princess Irene brigade m3 scout car as seen in the last slide wear standard British battledress which, using the .official 3rd gen British uniform colours is very straight forward to paint.
That cannot be said of the construction of the figures themselves however as in order to get them to fit inside the opening in the canvas roof of the scout car and to be as authentic to the original image as possible I had to cobble them together through an amalgamation of alpine, masterbox, miniart, tamiya and self sculpted parts. With the “porkchop” microphones and their wires scratch built.
