New Year, new paintings with 'old' colours. I haven't been painting on canvas since 2024. Yes, that's quite long! But 2026 invited me to paint again. I picked the colours I've been using in my last paintings more than a year ago. Mostly, when I'm entering a new phase, I use new colours that I just discovered as if they are a new land I'm walking in. Does this use of 'old colours' mean I am not in a new stage, a new land? I don't know and let go of that thoughts. I started and I can enter a new land slowly walking through this old familiar land. I don't know where I'm going, but for now this wintery, still and wide landscape makes me feel good!

2025 has been such a crazy year for me that I couldn’t cover all of it here on social media. Also, I’m a bit behind with posting my recent paintings for a loooong time, for many reasons. So, I thought it would be great to post something I painted today!
