De Hallen Amsterdam – Voormalige tramremise getransformeerd tot culturele en maatschappelijk betrokken ontmoetingsplek in Amsterdam Oud West, waar de nadruk ligt op interactie en (duurzame) ontwikkeling. ✨ We Extended the Show — One More Saturday!

Due to the wonderful response and many requests, we’re extending Piet Paris: The Sketch Show (as seen in Het Parool) with one final opening day.

Visit us Wednesday–Friday by appointment, or join us on Saturday, July 4, for the exhibition’s festive finale from 12–5 PM. ✨

Piet Paris will be at the gallery from 1–5 PM, making this the perfect opportunity to experience the exhibition and meet the artist in person.

Can’t make it to the gallery? A selection of the original sketches is also available to view online. You can reserve or purchase your favourite Piet Paris sketch through our website. (Link in bio)

Met Van De Hallen, voor West stellen we €10.000 beschikbaar voor buurtinitiatieven in Amsterdam-West, tot €1.500 per idee. Samen met Mensen Maken Amsterdam geven we ruimte aan ideeën die uit de buurt zelf komen. Je hoeft geen stichting of vereniging te zijn, een goed idee is genoeg!⁠

🔥Save the date for ZOMERSALON 2026 at De Hallen Amsterdam (De Hallen Amsterdam) ()!

Join us on 23 July for an evening of Pride, q***r visibility, photography, and community as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of marriage equality in the Netherlands.

Pride Photo and De Hallen Amsterdam bring together photographer Chantal Regnault (Chantal Regnault) and writer Menno Sedee () for a conversation spanning decades of q***r history. From the Pride marches of 1980s New York to Amsterdam Pride today, they will reflect on the importance of preserving q***r stories, the power of visibility, and the role photography plays in documenting, celebrating, and protecting LGBTQIA+ communities.

The evening also includes an introduction to this year’s Pride Photo exhibition and a closer look at the work of artist Laurien Riha (Laurien Riha).

At a time when q***r visibility remains contested and LGBTQIA+ rights are increasingly under pressure, this event offers a moment to come together, reflect, and celebrate the images and stories that shape our communities.
