Here I perform “Little Sunflower” by trumpet legend Freddie Hubbard with bassist Kim Clarke and Ladies of Jazz at Jazz aan de Sjtasie in Swalmen, The Netherlands.
This special line-up performed on Saturday, June 8, 2024, as the opening act on the small outdoor stage of the festival, with a mix of original compositions and standards.

Yesterday we had a great time playing at Talcott Mountain Collective in Weatogue, CT. The audience was amazing, warm and groovy, and the two sets turned into a joyful outdoor night of jazz, funk, hip hop, soul, improvisation and original music.

On June 9, 2024, Warren Byrd and I were Artists in Residence during the 7th edition of the festival. Here I am with my own Saskia Laroo Band, performing my original composition “Courtesy to Coltrane.”
This band has traveled the world with me, bringing our mix of jazz, funk, hip hop, grooves and improvisation to audiences in many countries. Many thanks to JazzClub 14 for capturing and sharing this beautiful memory.
