In 2012 EYE Filmmuseum opened on the northern bank of the IJ harbour in Amsterdam, and with its spectacular design it immediately became a modern icon for the city. EYE strives to be the ‘house of film', a modern museum full of many things to see and do, all of which are related to film. In addition to this, the building itself is freely accessible every day of the week, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the city from its bar.
