Sapphire proved to sparkle as we celebrated the return to Pakhuis de Zwijger. After a long summer break, the microphones welcomed 15 people to the microphone, most of whom made their debut, including a powerful piece by 12-year-old Alex.

We had participants and visitors from Ireland, United States, South Africa, Portugal, and our very own flatlands! Impromptu trivia questions lead to suprises from Tuaca Kelly, our very own dynamic host, creative producer and spoken word artists. She focuses on the craft, mentoring and cultivating a space where folks feel a sense of belonging. This event IS your favorite Tuesday night of every month.

The next Q***r Poetry Night in Amsterdam will be on October 27th 💫
