Alegria, alegria! Caetano Veloso returns to The Concertgebouw on Friday 19 May. Presenting ‘Teresa Canta Cartola’, Caetano is bringing the singer Teresa Cristina to Amsterdam.

Teresa opens the programme with songs by Cartola, followed by Caetano’s presentation with voice and guitar. They conclude the evening by singing Caetano’s greatest hits together.

Another year passed by! We're honored of having many great artists such as Vanessa da Mata, Martinho da Vila and Ivete Sangalo in Amsterdam. Together with their fans, we celebrated one of the most successful editions of the Viva Brasil Festival. Hopefully, this new year will bring even more music to our stages and you'll be able to share these special moments with us. Happy 2017, Happy New Year!!

The world has lost one of its greatest artists. Red Hot + Rio released an album (1996) that includes a duet of Astrud Gilberto & George Michael:

“I have been listening to brazilian jazz music, in particular the songs of Antonio Carlos Jobim for about 10 year now. I think I probably didn’t have the confidence to include them in earlier work, because I didn’t think I understood them well enough yet.
