Last weekend I played a 4-hour set in front of a real-life audience for the first time since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis and it felt awesome! Me and my 30 person strong audience had been craving for a club night out with dance music and that substantially increased our shared experience :).
Since the guidelines of the Dutch government momentarily only allow 30 visitors with reserved seats to public events, I figured I'd change things up a little with this set.. For an intimate setting like this I prepared a Deep House 'concert', inspired by Antonio Vivaldi and his work 'The Four Seasons'. I divided the four hours playtime I was given into four seasons (starting with Spring and ending with Winter) and selected tracks that I associate with the corresponding seasons. If this concept does not make any sense, I hope that you will nevertheless enjoy this 4-hour mix of my favourite Deep House music!
