Visie
[ ]
Connected by Art biedt kunstenaars een podium.

“In search of hidden gems”
During our quest for the perfect location for our next art fair, we discover unique spots. We meet developers offering their temporarily vacant buildings, but not every location fits the special atmosphere we’re after. It’s all about finding that one distinctive vibe that makes our fair so unique.✨

One of the participants of the Crafts art fair: Cecil Kemperink she is an artist with a rich background in art, dance, textiles, and fashion. Her diverse experiences influence her sculptures, which explore the connection between space and the body through rhythm, shape, and movement. A significant motif in her work is the circle, symbolizing unity and infinity, which she integrates into her dynamic, interactive sculptures. Inspired by natural forces like wind and tides, Kemperink instinctively molds clay to capture time and energy. Her work, balancing form and fluidity, strength and vulnerability, is exhibited across Europe, Asia, and the Netherlands. Kemperink lives and creates on the island of Texel.

An inspiring moment with our co-founders, Atena Shirazi & Esther Stasse, alongside Hugo Borst—renowned writer, editor, radio presenter, television personality, football critic, and owner of Galerie Weisbard.

Together, we are united by a shared passion for empowering artists and offering them a platform to showcase their vision and work. A heartfelt thank you to Hugo for joining us at our Modern Art Fair CRAFTS2024 and supporting our mission. 🌟
