Today, Stage Entertainment announced that Arthur de Bok will step down as CEO after nine years of exemplary leadership. He will be succeeded by Roel de Vries as CEO effective 1 May 2026.

Roel joins the Company from City Football Group (CFG) where he served as Group Chief Operating Officer overseeing CFG’s evolution from a football-centric entity to a diversified entertainment and hospitality business. Roel also brings over 25 years of experience at Nissan Motor Corporation where he held senior leadership positions in Europe, Asia and Africa. We thank Arthur who has been an excellent leader of this Company through some significant milestone achievements, including building a strong company and culture at Stage Entertainment as well as working together with our partners to delight and inspire audiences around Europe, on the West End and Broadway.

Stage Entertainment is a leading global producer and theatre operator, attracting seven million people to its musicals each year. Stage Entertainment produces major musicals with international partners and develops and produces new musicals for international production. It owns and operates 16 significant venues across Europe.

Today, we announced that Marc Estourgie will join our company as Managing Director for Stage Entertainment Netherlands!

Marc comes from Holland & Barrett, the world’s largest health and wellness retailer, where he was CEO for the Benelux region. Prior to this, he worked at C&A for more than 18 years, including in CEO roles in the Netherlands, Spain & Portugal and Belgium & Luxembourg.

We are happy to welcome him in our team! 👋

1500 SCHOOL CHILDREN AT DISNEY FROZEN! ❄️☃️
Last Wednesday, 1,500 school children visited the AFAS Circustheater Den Haag in Scheveningen to see Disney FROZEN. For many, it was their first theater experience, which made it extra special!

This initiative is part of an education program that consists of three parts: a special Frozen-themed class where children learn about themes such as friendship and self-love, a music class featuring songs from the show, and, of course, the visit to Disney FROZEN.

This wonderful initiative is a collaboration between Stage Entertainment Nederland, Abn Amro Foundation , Stichting Méér Muziek in de Klas, Jeugdeducatiefonds, and Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur.

After the education program, the involved parties will consider whether Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur can facilitate follow-up lessons for certain children, so they can further develop their talent!
