Firma DRAAK maakt theater over de relatie tussen mens en object. Ze ontleden deze eeuwenoude relatie Firma DRAAK is a objectheatre based performance collective.

Firma DRAAK is a new, young theatre collective consisting of Nick Bos and Mathieu Wijdeven. Both graduated at the Theatreacademy Maastricht in 2014 and founded Firma DRAAK at the same time. By the power of their shared love for fantasy, science fiction, special effect and spectacle, Firma DRAAK is able to realize energetic and humorous theatrical worlds in which the childhood dreams of boys are taken extremely serious. Existential questions rise in stories filled with imaginary creatures and fictional worlds. Firma DRAAK drags the audience into a generously filled fantasy by all possible and mostly self-built means and soundscapes. The audience is torn apart between the epic visual effects and vulnerability of the structures. For instance Herald’s Abyss (2010) embodied a bloody but visually appealing Christmas story, and title show Draak (2012) was a complete knight drama, including snow, armours, a castle and a dragon.
