What is the source and origin of life, where does it lead and will it end?

In the broadest sense, consciousness is the experience of mental states and processes. A place where the only moment in time seems to be the moment of the now.

We have a paradoxical relationship with our consciousness and infinity. Because we want everything, but we don’t want to choose between everything. We want to live forever and are afraid of being trapped in an infinite life.

An infinite number of options are perhaps the greatest stressors of our time. The story of infinite growth, of the imperative of infinite possibilities, is relentlessly exposed as a fairy tale.

But the story of the impossibility does not stand up to reality either. Water is life, is consciousness, is light, is infinity.

The Drake Equation is a probabilistic formula formulated by astronomer Frank Drake in 1961. It is used to estimate the number of active, communicative extraterrestrial civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy. Rather than providing an exact number, the equation provides a conceptual framework for scientists to evaluate the various factors required for intelligent life to exist and communicate.

Art is the equivalent of this inner quest: an intimate equation of perception, transformation, and expression. In this exhibition, eight artistic positions become living variables - eight perspectives on consciousness broadcasting into the space like extraterrestrial signals, waiting to be received by you.

Become part of the formula and experience these 8 forms of consciousness within your own being.

Beautiful Decay Festival in Koerich, Luxembourg.
Painted this 20m long wall in the burning sun, melting away. So I decided to start early birdish around 5/6 in the morning to have some time for major progress.

Met old and new friends, and had some fun in this unique old castle setting.

Thankz to these guys: Thierry, Alain Welter Rob Lee ✖️ Williann ✖️ plus a nize art talk with Philippe Ferres while everyone was watching this world cup football game thing.

THE DISTILLATE OF TIME
Within the simple seclusion of these cardboard casings rests the distillate of a four-year cycle. Four years of searching, of creating, and of silent becoming—now condensed into physical matter, shielded from the harsh, hungry light of the world.

We stagger through an era of ceaseless noise. A digital vacuum filled with hollow phantoms, born by the second and fading just as quickly. The compulsion to bow to the soulless laws of an algorithm—merely to be perceived as “existing” in the fleeting spotlight of the present—is the antithesis of true art. For creation obeys no tempo of speed. It breathes. It requires darkness and maturation.

Nothing whipped up in the frenzy of superficial hype has ever withstood the tides of time. Our earthly existence is far too fleeting, too precious, to be squandered on the trivial and the inconsequential.

Now, the gateway to the unknown stands ajar. I invite you to lift the veil of the obvious:

What essence, do you think, waits in the darkness of these shells to step into the light???

HEY ELECTRON
The double-slit experiment is one of the most enigmatic discoveries in quantum physics. In it, electrons behave like waves and create an interference pattern—as if they were passing through both slits simultaneously. Yet, the moment a measurement is made to determine which path an electron actually takes, this pattern vanishes. The electron suddenly behaves like a particle.

Who is actually observing whom here?

We believe we are observing the electron. But the experiment poses a deeper question: Why does its behavior change as soon as information about its path is obtained?

Perhaps the universe is more than just a collection of things. Perhaps it is an infinite web of relationships in which the observer and the observed are not entirely separate.

We peer into the depths of matter, searching for the origin. But sometimes it seems as if the origin is looking back. As if consciousness itself were a mirror through which the universe observes itself.

Of course, physics does not prove that electrons are watching us or possess their own consciousness. But it reveals something astonishing: the way we measure influences the reality we perceive.

Ultimately, this leaves us with an almost mystical question:
Are we looking into the matrix of reality—or is reality looking at itself through us?
