The banner is made at the Aria Residency in Teheran, Iran. Joyce Overheul went out into the streets to photograph residents who support the message (men of quality do not fear equality) holding the banner.

But it is also about the flexibility of artist who choose the material they work with depending on the image they have in mind.

Dan komt Joyce vanaf 15.00 uur in de galerie aan een nieuw werk werken. Goede gelegenheid om haar uit te vragen over haar ideeën of haar manier van werken.

Het werk van @sibylheijnen speelt met het licht van buiten. Zwart rubber gepatineerd met wit-goud, oranje met goud, of simpel met lichtdoorlatende gaten. Het mooist als je er langs loopt en ze bewegen!
