'Welkom in Catalonië’ (tr: 'Welcome to Catalonia') is author and copywriter Jasper van Buren’s autobiographically inspired novel about moving to Spain with his family. Armed with optimism, plans and an abundance of confidence, they purchase an old Catalan farmhouse. What follows is a steady stream of eerie surprises, setbacks, bizarre situations and headaches that seem to have Jasper’s name written all over them.
The book received excellent reviews and was praised for its suspense, wit, and skillful storytelling. As one reviewer described it: “a dark and entertaining book for sunny days.”
Once again, Jasper approached us to design the cover. We previously had the pleasure of creating the covers for his debut novel ‘Ravijn' and its successor, 'Boeddha’s Uitsmijter'. Naturally, we were delighted to take on the design for this fantastic new book as well.
