🔥 One of the men who helped create LA Style is coming back to AISF.

If you dance Salsa On1 today, you are dancing a style that Johnny Vazquez helped shape. Together with his brothers, he was one of the pioneers of what became known as LA Style — a style that went on to spread across the world.

🇲🇽 Raised in Guadalajara, now based in Milan, Johnny has been part of salsa history for decades. He has the titles, the championships and the résumé — but anyone who has ever seen him perform knows that none of that really explains Johnny Vazquez.

The stage does.

❤️ We are incredibly proud to welcome him back to Amsterdam for his fourth AISF.

Two workshops. One show. And with his brother Luis also on the line-up, a little piece of LA Style history is coming to AISF 2027.

Charlie & Vero are joining again in 2027.

Charlie Zafra and Verónica López have been dancing together since 2012 and run Dancelife Studio in Huelva. What they bring is a mix you do not see every day: Cuban roots blended with LA and New York styling, all of it carried by musicality rather than tricks.

This is their third time with us, and if you were there before you know exactly why they keep coming back. Two workshops and a show.

🔥 WIN YOUR WAY TO AISF

💃 You don’t have to be a great dancer. You just have to love salsa.

✈️ Film yourself dancing, post it, and you could be at AISF 2027 with your flight, hotel and Full Pass on us. Wherever in the world you live.

🎥 HOW TO ENTER:

1️⃣ Film 30–60 seconds of yourself dancing salsa. Kitchen, studio, street, party. Anywhere.

📲 Post it publicly on Instagram or Facebook, tag us, use , and add International Salsa Festival as a collaborator. That last step is the one people forget — and without it, your entry isn’t complete.

🔗 Send us the link through the form on our website. Posting alone is not an entry.

❤️ One thing that can make a real difference: tell us in your caption why you want to come to AISF. A story gives people a reason to stop, comment and get behind you instead of simply scrolling past.

🔥 Then get your people behind you. Round one happens on your own post: likes and comments count, with a comment counting three times as much as a like. The entries with the highest scores move on as finalists, and then the public picks the winner on our website.

👯 Dance with a partner in your video and you both come. Dance on your own and the trip is yours.

🙌 No jury. No scores. No levels. Beginners very welcome.

⏳ Entries close 22 November. Full prize and rules: link in bio.

⭐ STARGATE 2027: SIGN-UPS ARE OPEN ⭐

Couples, groups, solo dancers: this is your moment on the AISF stage, in front of an international crowd.

🗓 Friday: Couples
🗓 Saturday: Groups
🗓 Sunday: Solo

🏆 Winners dance that same night on the Main Stage of the International Red Carpet Showcase, next to world-class artists.

HOW WE JUDGE 👇
As always, five judges score every act:
🎵 Timing 25%
🎶 Musicality 25%
💡 Creativity 20%
🔥 Energy 20%
✨ Outfit 10%

And this year there is a SIXTH judge…
👉 THE AUDIENCE. YES, YOU!!! 👈

After the last act, a QR code appears on the screen. Scan it (no app needed) and give every act a number from 1 to 5. You have three minutes.

The room counts as one judge, never more. Only votes that rate every act count, so bringing your fan club won’t do the trick. Dancing will 😉

€150 per person, Full Pass access included.

74 artists and DJs. 17 countries. One floor in February.
But a festival is not a line-up, it is the people in the room. So: who is actually coming?

Put yourself on the list. Your first name and your city go on the page, nothing else, and you can watch it fill up with the people you will be dancing with.

Meet Lesley 🇳🇱

Lesley has been dancing salsa for less than a year, but his passion for On2 is impossible to miss. He has become a familiar face at salsa parties all across the Netherlands, always eager to learn, improve, and spend as much time on the dance floor as possible.

We’re excited to welcome Lesley to the Düsseldorf International Salsa Festival as one of our Guest Dancers. Make sure to say hi when you see him on the dance floor! 💃🕺
